Shopping Mall Paletti provides diverse shopping possibilities. In the Shopping Mall you will find shops that sell well-known and international products. There is also an ABC-refill station at Paletti. 

Paletti was established in 1999. Since the beginning Marimekko and Iittala Outlet have been included. Nowadays there are 12 different and versatile shops serving customers. The mall will celebrate its 20th birthday in November 2019.

Feeling hungry?

The menu in Kahvila-Ravintola Keskipiste includes cafeteria products and supplies, pizzas and hamburger meals. They also offer lunch seven days a week.

Shell Helmi Simpukka –restaurant offers sweet and salty snacks and lunch. The menu depends on the day of the week. In addition they have a store, betting shop, post office, car wash and high-quality Shell-fuels.

Sahapakka provides year-round farm accommodation in the outbuildings and in the log cabin.

Places you should definitely check out

Significant places to visit: Church, the monument of The Battle of Lintulahti and Honkalehdon Kievari, which is a tavern. In the tavern they have a museum and a handicrafts exhibition which is open in summer by agreement.

Free time

Kyyjärvi offers various possibilities of sports for free time.

Every summer you can go to swim in Kiviranta and Kallioranta beaches, which are both located nearby the downtown. You can also play Disc Golf and jog around the hilly ground of Harsunkangas. In summer 2019, the stairs of exercising were opened in Harsunkangas. In summer it is possible to play tennis and football nearby the school. The Activity park offers you a great chance to test your skills out in the playground and play various games such as basketball. In the gazebo, for example, you can take a rest or have a picnic.

You can also go fishing in Kyyjärvi. You will find fishing licenses in Shopping Mall Paletti.  You can rent a place for a boat at the marina if necessary.

In winter Harsunkangas offers you great ski trails. If the weather allows it, there will also be ski trails done around the lake. Surrounded by nature, in Harsunkangas, there is a toboggan slide and a place for a campfire. Every winter there is an ice-scate field nearby the school.

Even though Kyyjärvi is a small municipality, we offer good basic services: health care, children´s daycare Muksula for shift workers, comprehensive school Nopola, which provides small class groups, new school building with modern technology and diverse library services.
